Summit Direct Mail Chooses Midnight MIS Software from Virtual Systems
Virtual Systems announced that Summit Direct Mail has implemented Virtual Systems’ Midnight print and email management software.
Virtual Systems announced that Summit Direct Mail, a print, and email marketing services company, has implemented Virtual Systems’ Midnight print and email management software.
Based in Dallas TX, Summit Direct Mail is one of the largest marketing production firms in the southwest with a capacity of over 2 million pieces per day. “We view Virtual Systems as a partner in our business and have run their software for over 10 years, initially starting with their Mail-Shop software program”, says John Barber, president, and owner of Summit Direct Mail. “Summit has made significant investments in much of our technology and production infrastructure in recent years. We chose Midnight software because of its robust feature set and feel it is the ideal platform on which to further grow our business.”
For its customers, Summit anticipates new API automation capabilities, quicker turn-on estimates, new online proofing capabilities, iPad shop floor tracking, and online job status. Furthermore, customers will directly benefit from the broader range of work planning, scheduling and tracking that Midnight provides.
“The best thing about this implementation is Summit’s competency in implementing technology and executing high-volume print/mail programs, so this takes full advantage of Midnight software’s broad platform, which goes beyond traditional print MIS to include specialized modules for true marketing service providers," mentioned Chris Huber, president, and founder of Virtual Systems. “Companies that invest in technology today are clearly paving a road for increased market share in the future.”
