DirectMail.com, a leading provider of integrated direct marketing solutions, announced the signing of Wilmington, Del.–based MapCreator USA LLC, a market-leading provider of mapping solutions for the printing, publishing and media industries. Under the terms of the agreement, DirectMail.com will oversee list management, printing and mail distribution for Maps4Mail, the firm’s direct mail offering, and assist Maps4Mail’s efforts to establish a reseller network. In a separate action, DirectMail.com also agreed to become a Maps4Mail reseller.

Unique technology allows Maps4Mail to create high-resolution, print-quality (300 dpi), personalized maps quickly. Notably, the firm’s “dynamic routing” technology allows maps to display the specific travel route from each mailing list address to the venue the direct mail piece promotes.

DirectMail.com will play a key role in Maps4Mail’s push-pull marketing strategy of developing a U.S. sales channel and a customer base. Notably, MapCreator USA is part of MapCreator BV, based in The Netherlands.

Martin Bruin, Managing Partner/Shareholder of Mapcreator USA, said, “DirectMail.com is a very responsive, practical and professional organization that possesses both the expertise and facilities to conduct each phase of the Maps4Mail strategy expertly. Both companies share a passion for and awareness of the importance of maps and geo-marketing in today’s marketplace. DirectMail.com’s patented GeoSelector technology is remarkable.”

Price Anderson, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for DirectMail.com, said, “Maps4Mail’s uses a seamless process to create personalized maps on the fly from database records. No other firm offers this capability, and the marketing results to date speak to the efficacy of this approach. We were so impressed with the technology that we opted to become a reseller in addition to promoting the firm and assisting its new business development efforts.”
