Konica Minolta bizhub C35

Konica Minolta announced the availability of the bizhub C35, its first color A4 multifunctional product (MFP – print, copy, fax, and scan all in one system). Offering output speeds of up to 31 pages per minutes (ppm) in color and monochrome and first printout in under 13 seconds, the bizhub C35 incorporates a variety of standard advanced features for higher productivity including: a reversing auto document feeder, auto duplexing of stock up to 110-pound index, and a high-capacity 120 GB hard disk drive for on-board digital document storage. The bizhub C35 also adds sophisticated document security features (user authentication/restriction, encrypted PDF, HDD overwrite, HDD encryption) that ensure documents are safe, and document management tools that today’s digital era customer demands.

The bizhub C35 features Konica Minolta’s proprietary Simitri HD Color Polymerized Toner for sharper text and enhanced fine detail, as well as the full suite of PageScope application solutions for improved overall productivity. Facilitating easy sharing and distribution of information, the bizhub C35 offers wide scanning functionality such as direct scan to Email, FTP, SMB, USB and hard disk. Scan formats cover TIFF, JPEG, XPS as well as compact and encrypted PDF. A secure printing function offers restricted access so that users have to authenticate directly at the unit’s operating panel. Safe network communication from and to the devices is ensured by encryption using the IPsec protocol, IP filtering and IPP Over SSL, amongst others. With this comprehensive security functionality, the bizhub C35 is in evaluation for ISO 15408 EAL 3.
