Museo brand of digital fine art media is now owned by Intelicoat Technologies.
On December 17, 2007 Crane & Co. announced the sale of their digital fine art paper business, including the Museo brand of products, to Intelicoat Technologies. Intelicoat is the leading coater and converter of inkjet media including papers, films, canvas, and other fabrics. Crane will continue to supply the base paper and existing technologies.
During a recent interview David Williams, Museo Sales & Marketing Manager, stated "This is an outstanding next chapter in the history of Museo digital fine art media. Combining the finest cotton papermaking capability with world class coating and converting will only strengthen the position of Museo as a leading brand of fine art inkjet media." "With the tremendous synergies between the two companies and the existing range of products at Intelicoat, you can expect the Museo portfolio to expand over the coming months and years", Williams stated.
